While inside rooms start at just 185 square feet — compared to ocean view cabins that start at 230 square feet — I thought it was comfortable. Even when I've shared an inside room on past sailings, the size never bothered me since I spend most of my cruising time outside on the decks and only use my cabin to sleep. As you step into a Junior Suite aboard Carnival Panorama, you can't help but feel that you're stepping into full-size luxury in a smaller package.
I always recommend getting a balcony room if it’s within your budget. I have seen whales from my balcony on both an Alaskan Cruise and my cruise to Mexico on the Carnival Panorama. So if you start your day with a coffee or two, then move on to drinks at the pool, end your day with a glass of wine or cocktail at dinner… you should definitely consider getting yourself the Cheers package.
Throughout the day, guests will find trivia tournaments, bingo, dance-off competitions, and various live music performances, all included for no extra charge. I'm always delighted to find a brewery in the middle of the ocean. Carnival has breweries onboard its ships, either in Fieri's smokehouse or at the RedFrog Pub & Brewery.

Each meal ends on a note courtesy of Chocolate Bento Box and Green Tea Ice Cream. The restaurant is open for lunch (sea days only) and for dinner (every night). A Cloud 9 Spa Suite is the ultimate in both stateroom and spa accommodations. There's room for you and your things - with a large room and balcony - and a walk-in closet.
Our days would be filled with visits to sunny destinations including Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas. We also added on the cost of a 2-day spa pass for $40 per person on this sailing, as we wanted to have access to thermal sauna suites and a large spa tub. You would think that a ship that is sailing to a sunny and warm place would offer more water stations. So no matter where you were on the ship, you had to go to the lido deck to fill your water bottles.

Carnival Panorama activities go from the usual free workshops, dance classes and fun quizzes to more unique option such as the SkyRide, the WaterWorks and The Clubhouse. As a single traveler on a budget, I found the Panorama made it easy to maximize the good times. And even though Panorama always sails the same Mexican Riviera itinerary year-round, I never grow tired of this cruise.
We could have paid more to be in a prime location closer to the pool deck, but with the elevators close to us and the pool parties just a quick lift away, I'm glad I opted to save the money. In addition to a comfy bed, my room had a desk and chair, full closet, and a small fridge. There was also plenty of storage in the closet and a separate shelving unit so I was able to make the most of my space by putting my belongings away. Both me and my friend booked standard interior cabins on the Carnival Panorama and our cabins were identical. Through my past cruises, I've come to find that the inside rooms offer just the right amount of space I need personally, while paying the lowest rate possible to meet my budget. I've sailed on Panorama twice with my spouse, and we already have another sailing booked for later this year.
I do have to say that I was disappointed with the food in the dining rooms. We actually found we enjoyed the food in the buffet to be better and ate dinner there a few times. You’ll have no trouble keeping your sea days filled, whether you’re ready to relax or you want to bond with the family over tons of fun. A Havana Cabana suite will make you feel like you’ve escaped to a Caribbean resort. One of the best options on the ship, Havana Cabana suites are outfitted with rain showers, private decks, double vanities and more. Grand suites are big, airy and spacious, with a separate living area cut off from the bed by a large entertainment center.
